miscellaneous cakes from the year

Here is a birthday cake for a child whoes birthday is in march.

this cake was made with a whipped icing, wilton brand, from a box. it was difficult to work with. tasted good.  the colors did bleed a little on to the white icing the next day.

a hello kitty cake to cheer up a friend!

this was for a baby shower, the mom LOVED it.  it was very simple to make and the elephant is actually a left over from another cake it did several months ago.  the elephant is a 'color flow' technique that dries hard, when stored in a air tight container it can keep for months.

New Years Cake

New years party cake.  not much to say, i had a headache the night i made this one, so i threw it together quite quickly.  I had punched out the fondant confetti weeks prior for another cake which i didnt use, so i threw it on this cake.  party hat is made out of dried fondant.

Christmas Cake

I did this cake for our Work chrsitmas party.  the box tops are made from rice crispy treats frosted and covered in fondant.
